Taking advantage of our rural location, we were able to fulfill a lifelong ambition of offering ex battery hens somewhere to run free in the great Northumberland countryside. It is not until you actually see how poor a condition these birds are in when they face being destroyed after their working life is over, that your heart can't help but melt.....
